Course Description
The MCATI Basic course provides state and local law enforcement agencies with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for and successfully mitigate threat incidents involving civil disorder. Law
enforcement responders must be prepared to protect the lives and properties within their jurisdiction. This course combines classroom instruction with numerous field exercises and drills to allow responders to
apply concepts and tactics in a controlled environment.

• District Response Task Force Law Enforcement Response Groups
• District Incident Management Team Operations Section Chiefs
• Commanders of All Hazard Incident Management Teams
• District Response Task Force Commanders and Deputy Commanders
• Law Enforcement
Prerequisites
Students should have completed ICS 100, 200, and 700.

Logistics
Lodging is available for those who do not live in the area.
Instruction
This training will be provided by the Center for Domestic Preparedness and is in direct support of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security District Response Task Force Training Initiative. Priority will be given to students that are members of their District Response Task Force Law Enforcement Response Group.
